BCBST BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join the Cyber Security Engineering team.

You will serve as a cybersecurity engineering resource supporting initiatives across the security organization, contributing to day-to-day operations and engineering efforts as priorities evolve. The role requires strong problem-solving, the ability to learn new technologies, experience with server security, DLP, firewalls, and audits, and familiarity with Azure,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years in a corporate environment)
• 3 years of information security engineering experience required
• Experience configuring SSO and step-up authentication (federation)
• Familiarity with cloud security technologies and platforms
• Understanding cloud security frameworks and compliance standards
• Proficiency in Windows scripting and automation (PowerShell, VBScript, Perl, Batch)
• Certifications such as CCSP, AWS Certified Security, or Azure Specialty preferred

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain security needs for operations development and risk assessment
• Ensure security integrations with core security technologies across applications, cloud, and platforms
• Collaborate with technical teams and cloud providers to meet requirements and security best practices
• Ensure compliance with regulations and privacy laws
• Develop security automation for testing, identity, cloud, and baseline monitoring
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies and procedures and provide policy support
• Implement and manage cloud security solutions to protect cloud-based apps, data, and infrastructure
• Conduct cloud security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks
• Participate in weekly on-call rotation
