Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Cyber Security Architect to lead enterprise Zero Trust programs for a DoD client. You will develop long-term cybersecurity strategies, manage RMF efforts, and drive risk-based security decisions across a large distributed environment.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with stakeholders, and stay current on evolving threats and technologies while ensuring compliance with DoD and federal standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT/security risk management experience
• Current Secret clearance
• DoD RMF Controls expertise and ATO knowledge
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust Network Architecture
• Proficiency in security audits and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term cybersecurity strategies aligned with goals and regulations
• Lead RMF efforts for large distributed systems to obtain an ATO
• Create and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Support incident response including detection, containment, eradication, and recovery
• Assist vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses
• Collaborate with IT professionals, stakeholders, and vendors to meet security needs
• Stay up to date on cybersecurity threats, technologies and best practices
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior security staff and training
• Interface with government customers to present program cyber risks
