Job summary

CyberMaxx, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our fully remote team. You will formalize security tuning, support incident response, and coordinate forensics as needed.

You will help develop knowledge bases, mentor new staff, and push continuous improvement in detection capabilities. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, intermediate security certifications, and 3 years of relevant experience, with a 24/7 SOC work schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Intermediate level security certifications.
• 3 years’ relevant work experience in security.

Responsibilities

• Formalize and deliver security tuning requests to improve detection and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain incident response use incidents, knowledge base articles, and other docs.
• Coordinate basic forensics activities as needed.
• Conduct after action reviews to identify improvements.
• Aid onboarding and mentoring new team members.
• Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Create, review and maintain internal documentation.
