NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to modify and develop .NET applications, collaborate with a DBA on SQL performance, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions. The role emphasizes translating business needs into technical designs and maintaining high-quality code.

Requirements include 8 years in C#, ASP.NET Core/ASP.NET, ADO.NET, JavaScript and 5 years SQL Server experience, with strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Minimum eight (8) years of strong, hands-on C#, ASP.Net Core, ASP.NET, ADO.Net, JavaScript.
• Minimum five (5) years of Microsoft SQL Server experience with relational databases and stored procedures.
• Experience translating business requirements to technical specifications and database designs.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical mindset and ability to stay current with technology trends.
• Experience providing accurate project and work effort estimates.

Responsibilities

• Modify and develop .NET code for multiple .NET applications to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with a DBA to tune the SQL database performance.
• Work with software developers, analysts, architects, and IT professionals to implement solutions.
• Ensure solutions are lightweight, scalable, and high quality.
• Incorporate security considerations at every development step.
