Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to monitor, investigate, and respond to security threats across KBS and its subsidiaries’ networks, endpoints, and cloud environments. The role emphasizes AWS and Microsoft 365 security, threat hunting, and automation.

The position is remote, collaborating with Software Engineering and DevOps to implement secure configurations and improve overall posture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS security configuration across identity, network, and data services.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and compliance across identity, endpoint, email, and collaboration workloads.
• Able to present platform options and tradeoffs with clear recommendations.
• Hands-on experience using CQL to build queries and dashboards; working knowledge of KQL.
• Experience with Python or PowerShell scripting for automation and incident enrichment; IaC for configuration enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Apply AWS security best practices across identity, network, workload, and data services; ensure alignment with AWS Well-Architected Security Pillar.
• Own AWS security posture; create visibility via SIEM and drive measurable improvements.
• Configure and tune Microsoft 365 security capabilities across endpoint, identity, email, and data protection.
• Actively hunt for indicators of compromise across endpoints, identity, email, network, and cloud environments.
• Develop and execute queries and dashboards to analyze telemetry from multiple sources; automate repetitive security operations.
