Job summary

ArdentMC in the United States is seeking a Cyber Lead Auditor / Test Lead to provide independent technical and assurance leadership for a cybersecurity program.

The role involves converting objectives into testing strategies, supervising evidence collection, and ensuring findings are supported across a multi‑agency environment.

Remote with travel to Tallahassee, FL; candidates from Florida and nearby states preferred; government background welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, PMP, or CEH.
• 10 years of progressive cybersecurity experience.
• 5 years auditing or assurance in government or regulated environments.
• Ability to design defensible test procedures and communicate results clearly.
• Knowledge of auditing standards and evidence requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead ingestion and analysis of agency documentation, including risk assessments and remediation plans.
• Direct development of the Agency Risk Understanding Memorandum with risk summaries.
• Design Ground-Truth Testing Strategies and approve detailed procedures.
• Map procedures to NIST CSF DE.AE, DE.DP, PR.AC and applicable criteria.
• Ensure testing stays within OCIG authorization and ROE guidelines.
• Review evidence for relevance, reliability, sufficiency, and traceability.
• Validate reports state procedures and results without audit opinion.
• Conduct independent QA reviews of deliverables not authored by the reviewer.
• Lead technical briefings and knowledge transfer for OCIG/OIG staff.
• Support urgent analysis of logs, timelines, and incident evidence when directed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information assurance, audit, information systems, or related discipline

Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, PMP, CEH, or other relevant certifications
