Job summary

Seneca Technologies, part of the Seneca Nation Group, is hiring a Computer Network Defense Analyst in Mechanicsburg, PA, with remote work possible. You will monitor security platforms, analyze events, and support SOC activities to enhance the agency's cyber defense posture.

The role requires a Secret clearance, four years of cyber monitoring experience or six years without a degree, and relevant certifications (Security+, CySA+, GCIH, Splunk).

Qualifications

• Four+ years in cybersecurity monitoring, cyber defense, incident response, or SOC operations.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CompTIA CySA+, GIAC GCIH, Splunk Core, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security platforms and alerts to identify threats and anomalies.
• Analyze security events and escalate incidents per procedures.
• Conduct control gap analyses and recommend mitigations.
• Support SOC activities and continuous monitoring.
• Develop dashboards, metrics, and leadership reports.
• Collaborate with system owners and cybersecurity teams to improve posture.
• Assist in incident response triage, containment, and post-incident reporting.
• Contribute to continuous monitoring SOPs and best practices.
• Support DoD cybersecurity compliance activities.
