Remote Customer Service Representative - Must Reside in NY (Starting 6/9/2025)

Overview

Work Location: This is a remote/work from home position. Must reside in New York state.

Compensation: $16.50/hour

Paid Training Start Date: Monday, June 9, 2025

Training Hours: Monday through Friday: 8am - 5pm EST

Hours of Operation: Following training, Monday through Friday: 10am - 8pm EST; Saturday: 9am - 5pm EST

Please note: During training, you will be assigned a set work schedule within these hours.

Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with billing inquiries/concerns
  • Ensure all account information is accurately documented and inputted into client system
  • Provide detailed explanations of account status and inquiries to customers
  • Adhere to State and Federal regulations pertaining to your duties
  • Assist customers with delinquent accounts according to state guidelines
  • Utilize communication skills to meet client and customer goals
Qualifications

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, able to prioritize, and communicates effectively. Must have high professionalism, excellent call handling skills, and reliable attendance. Proficiency with Microsoft applications and ability to learn new software are required. A High School diploma or equivalent is necessary.

For remote work, minimum internet speed requirements include:

  • Broadband connection (no DSL or dial-up)
  • Hardwired connection (no Wi-Fi hotspots)
  • Speed test: 25 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload

Camera use is required during training shifts.
