Join to apply for the Remote Customer Service Agent role at MCI

Looking for rewarding work from the safety and comfort of your home? We are seeking Customer Service Representatives to support inbound customer service, help desk, technical support, and back-office processing for commercial and public sector clients. In this role, you will handle inbound inquiries, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and assist callers with product and process questions, professionally representing some of the most recognizable brands globally. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be eager to learn, and highly reliable.

Some on-site training is required, up to 1 week. Weekend, night, and bilingual agents enjoy enhanced wages. We offer a variety of project openings with flexible schedules to fit your needs.

This entry-level position includes paid on-the-job training. Compensation depends on experience. Prior contact center experience isn’t required but is a plus.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound calls and make outbound sales inquiries
  • Utilize contact center technology and customer experience methodologies
  • Become knowledgeable about products, technology, and business processes
  • Resolve support issues, upsell products/services, and ensure excellent customer experience
  • Recognize sales opportunities and apply sales skills
  • Escalate dissatisfied customers appropriately
  • Achieve first call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling

Qualifications
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Typing speed of 20+ WPM
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows OS
  • Reliable with good attendance and punctuality
  • Customer service orientation with empathy, patience, and responsiveness
  • Ability to multitask and stay focused
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Additional Requirements
  • Authorized to work in the job location
  • Willing to undergo background/security checks and drug screening
  • Physical ability to operate office equipment and occasionally move objects up to 40 pounds
