Job summary

Maximus is seeking an entry-level Customer Service Representative I to deliver general OPM healthcare enrollment information to callers. The role uses telephony, email, chat, and web browsers and follows defined training instructions.

The position is fully remote but requires residence within 75 miles of Lawrence, KS, with on-site steps for clearance. Shifts run 7am–7pm CST, with overtime and possible volunteer OT.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience.
• Must read and write English clearly and professionally.
• Typing speed of at least 20 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic OPM healthcare enrollment information via phone, email, chat, or letters.
• Use standard systems to track information and troubleshoot inquiries.
• Refer callers to published materials or senior staff as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of OPM regulations and policies.
• Adhere to privacy rules and standard operating procedures.
