Job summary

Fullmind Learning is seeking a Virtual Computer Science Educator (IL Certified) for a remote 1099 contract role. You will teach computer science courses to students via the district platform, collaborating with an in-class facilitator and district staff.

Requires US work authorization, IL CS certification, and at least 3 years of teaching experience. A laptop, webcam, and reliable internet are essential; background check and teaching demonstration are part of the process.

Qualifications

Authorized to work in the United States and hold an active Illinois CS teaching certification.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator.
Must have a laptop/desktop, webcam, headset and reliable internet access.
Participation in virtual skills teaching demonstration and background check as part of the application process.
Prior online teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Teach the curriculum on the district's virtual platform and attend district PD and faculty meetings.
Record student progress and partner with the in-class facilitator who is physically in class with students.
Use the educator portal to view and select placement opportunities as they become available.
Create engaging lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum and promote student learning.
Keep track of student grades and performance throughout the course timeline.
