Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider to manage adult critical care patients via tele-ICU from home. The role requires NP or PA licensure, board certification, and 3+ years in critical care, with DEA registration prior to hire.

The APP will work with Wisconsin units, participate in policy development, and contribute to quality initiatives. The position offers CME allowances, an employer-paid benefits package, and a salary guarantee with performance

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent critical care experience as NP or PA.
• Active APRN license and national board certification.
• Active DEA registration prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical and surgical ICU patients and practice at top of license.
• Obtain history, exam, document findings, and plan care including tests and meds.
• Attend and contribute to group meetings, policies, and quality initiatives.
• Provide tele-critical care from home and coordinate with WI units.
• Document accurately in EMR and ensure timely, safe patient care parameters.
