Remote Crisis Chat/Text Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)

Job Summary:

The Crisis Hotline is the first contact and representation of Integral Care by phone to the public, clients, community, and providers. Calls, texts, and chats coming into Integral Care's main crisis number and 988 National Suicide Crisis Lifeline are answered by Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) 24/7, including holidays.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Handle crisis calls, texts, and chats by providing crisis intervention services and risk assessments.
  • Complete initial screenings.
  • Provide information about Integral Care services.
  • Provide community referrals and support.
  • Link callers with the appropriate service providers.

These duties focus on customer care and meeting clients' needs, performed under the supervision of a Licensed clinician (LPHA). The QMHP collaborates with community partners including APD, TCSO, medical facilities, and schools.

Work Requirements:
  • Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
  • May require flexible work schedule.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field (required). Master's degree preferred.
  • License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required).
  • Experience: Preferred: mental health assessments, diagnosis, treatment experience; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Work Details:

Full-Time, hours and days vary. Salary: $23.25 - $24.41/hour plus crisis stipend and shift differentials.
