BerryDunn is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join our Healthcare Compliance and Credentialing Practice Area. You will handle all aspects of credentialing and re-credentialing for providers, including PSV, CAQH maintenance, and enrollment with payers.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant healthcare experience including credentialing and/or medical billing
• CPCS or CPMSM certification is a plus
• Strong organization and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Complete credentialing and re-credentialing applications for providers and groups with payers and government programs
• Perform primary source verification (PSV) services
• Maintain CAQH profiles for providers
• Manage credentialing database with payer IDs and effective dates
• Coordinate with client liaisons and billing departments on enrollment status
• Contact payers to follow up on applications and respond to inquiries promptly
• Communicate credentialing information to providers and designees to ensure timely submissions
• Provide regular project updates to leadership and manage deliverables and deadlines
• Track hours in time and attendance software for billing accuracy
