Job summary

GlobalHealth is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to manage provider credentialing and recredentialing, ensuring compliance with CMS Medicare Advantage requirements and applicable regulations.

You will verify qualifications, maintain accurate records, support onboarding, and collaborate with other departments to drive timely credentialing and data integrity while protecting PHI and adhering to privacy policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Three to five years of credentialing experience.
• Knowledge of CMS, OSDH, and other accrediting agency standards.
• Proficient with credentialing databases and MS Office tools.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle PHI securely.

Responsibilities

• Process credentialing applications and files for completeness and accuracy.
• Obtain primary source verification (board certifications, licensure, etc.).
• Query NPDB, OIG, SAM, and Medicare data for credentialing.
• Prepare files for Credentialing Committee approval.
• Maintain updated credentialing records and provider communication.
