Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking a Principal Field Service Technical Training Specialist to design and deliver training for cranial and spine imaging products. The role involves creating curricula, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading instructor-led sessions.

The position requires on-site presence in Lafayette, CO at least two weeks per month and up to 25% travel. The ideal candidate has strong technical training experience in medical imaging equipment, plus knowledge of regulatory

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with 8+ years engineering, technical training or troubleshooting experience OR an Associate's with 6+ years OR a Bachelor's with 4+ years of such experience.
Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically or internationally; prior field service or factory engineering in medical devices is a plus.
Experience servicing electromechanical imaging systems (x-ray, mammography, gamma ray) is preferred.
Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings; familiarity with FDA 21 CFR, CGMP for medical devices.

Design and deliver technical training for cranial and spine imaging products, focusing on X-Ray and Imaging technologies.
Create curricula, instructor guides, assessments and global deployment of training; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Conduct on-site and remote training sessions; ensure attendance, tracking, and certification; measure training effectiveness.
