Job Description

REMOTE CRANE OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Remote Crane Operator for a company based in Woodstock, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating the Remote Crane.

Pay Rate
Dependent on experience

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 4:00 am to 12:30 pm or 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Operate traveling or stationary overhead cranes to handle loads such as machinery, equipment, and bulk materials, following instructions to control the crane’s movement.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, ensure proper functioning of the crane, and maintain equipment.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth lifts and operations.
• Transport materials within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Follow safety regulations, wear PPE, and secure loads properly.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas, preventing damage.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Certification as an Overhead Crane Operator.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift materials.
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts, including counterbalance, reach, and pallet jacks.
