Job summary

Acxiom in the United States seeks a Data Acquisition Specialist – CPG purchase data to own review, acquisition, and management of consumer purchase data partners. You will identify high-quality datasets from retailers and data providers, negotiate access, and translate business needs into data specs.

This role expands our CPG purchase-data assets used for insights, audience creation, analytics, and measurement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data acquisition or related field.
• Experience with CPG, retail or shopper data.
• Strong understanding of data licensing and data ecosystems.
• Ability to translate requirements into data specs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with Excel/Sheets; SQL/APIs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate data sources for CPG purchase data.
• Manage end-to-end data acquisition including contracting and onboarding.
• Work with internal teams to define data requirements.
• Review data provider docs, schemas, and delivery specs.
• Monitor data feeds and vendor performance.
• Maintain data source documentation.
• Support vendor comparisons and contract negotiations.
