Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is partnering with a well-established public accounting firm to offer a Tax Associate (CPA) role that is 100% remote. You will prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, while managing multiple client engagements with tight deadlines.

This fully remote position provides growth opportunities toward Senior and Manager levels and exposure to diverse client types.

Qualifications

• CPA license required or CPA in progress preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred) required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
• Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
• Perform tax research and apply findings to client situations
• Assist with tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information and provide updates
• Collaborate with managers and partners on complex tax matters
