VIVA in Wisconsin seeks a BEP Accountant (CPA) with at least 5 years working with state or federal government agencies to manage financial performance for the client BEP. The role requires understanding of the Randolph Sheppard Act and Wisconsin BEP regulations, and the ability to develop monthly P&L statements and related financial information for vision-impaired operators.

• CPA with at least 5 years in government agencies or related entities.
• Understanding of Randolph Sheppard Act and 34 CFR Part 395.
• Knowledge of Wisconsin BEP laws and regulations (Wis. Admin. Code ch. WIs60, Wis. Stat. ch. 47, and Wis. Admin. Code § ADM 2.12).
• Experience developing monthly and annual P&L statements and related financial information for vision-impaired individuals.
• Ability to present financial information in large-group meetings and ensure accessibility of documents for assistive technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with changes to the BEP P&L template in consultation with and approved by the State Licensing Agency (SLA).
• Follow procedures for the collection and data verification of monthly P&L statements in consultation with the SLA.
• Analyze monthly P&L statements and develop invoices based on operator submissions; be aware the BEP Licensed Operator count may grow over time.
• Submit monthly set aside invoices to BEP Licensed Operators.
• Collect monthly set aside payments from BEP Licensed Operators within 30 days of invoice receipt.
• Ensure monthly BEP Licensed Operator set aside payments to client Finance as directed by the SLA.
• Collaborate with the BEP Director to develop and maintain program reporting.
• Work with client Finance to track outstanding set aside invoices.
• Provide recommendations to the BEP Director for BEP fiscal performance improvement plans.
• Monitor BEP Licensed Operator fiscal performance improvement plans as directed by the BEP Director.
• Ensure all communications and documents are accessible with assistive technology (large print, high contrast, screen readers).
• Participate in BEP Director meetings as needed.
• Participate in financial-related agenda items of the monthly ECBV meeting.
