Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited law school with admission to the California State Bar.
• Three years of legal experience including litigation or judicial research.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, interpret, and summarize legal authorities for judicial officers.
• Research statutes, case law, and legislative history using traditional and computerized methods.
• Prepare written memoranda and proposed tentative rulings; may brief judges orally.
• Attend court hearings and assist on special projects as directed.
