Job summary

State of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City seeks a Court Reporter to record and transcribe court proceedings. This full-time role requires certification, and offers a signing bonus and equipment allowance, with remote-work eligibility and in-office minimum 25% presence.

Core hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with flexible needs for hearings. The OCC provides training on OCC-specific tech, including Laserfiche and ECF, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be certified/licensed by the State Board of Examiners of Official Shorthand Reporters.
• Knowledge of spelling, punctuation and grammar; familiarity with legal terminology.
• Ability to learn and proficiently use OCC-specific technology such as ECF and Laserfiche.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exhibits and docket handling.
• Transcribe court proceedings verbatim.
• Maintain complete records of hearing dockets.
• Operate Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Adapt to scheduling needs and in-office presence as required.
