The Kansas Judicial Branch is seeking a visionary Court Forms & Access Officer to lead statewide forms, public-facing materials, and digital content. You will apply plain language standards, user-centered design, and document automation to improve accessibility for self-represented litigants.

Reporting to the Access to Justice Initiatives department, you will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with judges and court staff, and ensure compliance with WCAG/ADA standards while driving

Competenze

• Education: JD or other relevant advanced degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in court administration, legal technology, legal services, or a related field.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Kansas statutes, court rules, and policies.

• Plain-Language Strategy & Legal Design: lead a statewide program.
• Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of statewide court forms and public-facing materials.
• Facilitate a multi-tiered review framework with drafting, user testing, and updates.
• Ensure accessibility and plain-language standards for forms and digital resources.
• Aid in document automation and digital workflow solutions for filings.
• Track form changes for timely systemwide updates.
• Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with judges, clerks, and partners.
• Manage vendor relationships and external partnerships.
