Job summary

Post University is seeking a Remote Counselor Education SME to join on a contract basis for a three-month development cycle. You will collaborate with Instructional Design to build an engaging online course and review AI-generated content for quality and alignment with outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited program, can work effectively in a remote team, and has familiarity with Blackboard Ultra or similar LMS;

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from CACREP-accredited program.
• Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with web-based communication and project management tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Review onboarding information from Instructional Design and the Program Chair.
• Collaborate with Instructional Designer and Program Chair to finalize course roadmap and objectives.
• Provide or refine course content including assignments, prompts, assessments, and multimedia suggestions.
• Review and finalize content iteratively using collaboration tools.
• Incorporate AI-generated draft materials and adapt for relevance.
• Ensure content meets quality standards, including ADA compliance.
• Engage in regular meetings with the design team and meet deadlines.
• Review the completed Blackboard course build using checklists.
