Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice in Michigan (or eligible for admission).
3–10 years of business law experience.
Strong communications, technology and organizational skills.
Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions (M&A), litigation, business formation, corporate governance, employment law, IP, and regulatory compliance.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents.
Provide legal guidance and support to business clients on corporate, transactional, and litigation matters.
Conduct research and analyze legal issues to support client strategies.
Collaborate with the lead attorney(s) on case preparation, client consultations, and court appearances.
