What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Source new acquisitions and develop relationships with key decision-makers in vertical market software businesses
- Maintain and nurture acquisition opportunities through effective communication and customer relationship management
- Act as the senior account manager for M&A relationships in your area of coverage
- Communicate Harris’ investment strategy while ensuring professionalism in the investment process
- Track activities and maintain relevant information using Salesforce, generating and reporting on leads
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be fluent in both English and French
- Minimum of 5+ years of related business experience in sales, corporate development, consulting, banking, investing, or M&A sourcing
- Strong aptitude and passion for corporate development and relationship management
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities
- Self-starter with strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in technology/software, investor relations, or entrepreneurship/start-up environments
- Previous corporate development experience is helpful but not necessary
