Job summary

Mercor is seeking Consultants to work on two aesthetics projects, Project Style and Project Midas. You will review AI-generated knowledge-work deliverables and rework the strongest one to a genuinely well-made standard in content and design.

You will compare AI versions, score them on layout, typography and polish, and provide evidence-based justifications. A design-minded background helps; desktop PowerPoint, Word and Excel are required. Fully remote, ~10 hours/week, $85–$100/hour.

Qualifications

• Background as a designer or knowledge-work specialist (management consulting, investment banking, corporate design, agency work, or marcom) is a strong fit.
• Strong eye for layout, typography, and polish in business deliverables.
• Ability to articulate design judgments in writing.

Responsibilities

• Compare AI-generated versions of the same deliverable and score them across layout, typography, colour, domain realism, and polish
• Take the strongest candidate and rework it to reference quality
• Provide clear justifications tied to specific evidence (the cell, slide, table or section, and what the reader loses)
• Bring design judgment to real corporate client materials
