Job summary

Red Carrot is seeking a Journeyman Copywriter to craft persuasive, on-brand content for marketing materials, newsletters, and social media supporting our research and technology program. This remote position requires collaboration with designers, development of voice and tone, and producing compelling content across digital and print formats.

A Bachelor's degree and 3–7 years in creative writing or marketing are preferred; USDOT PIV credential may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Advertising, or Communications.
• 3-7 years of experience in creative writing or marketing.
• Strong command of brand voice and persuasive writing techniques.
• Ability to obtain a USDOT Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential.

Responsibilities

• Create persuasive, on-brand copy for marketing materials, newsletters, and social media
• Develop voice and tone tailored to drive specific actions or build awareness for program initiatives
• Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure copy and visuals deliver a cohesive message
• Support development of campaign briefs, promotional plans, and outreach materials
• Write and refine content for a variety of digital and print communications products
• Coordinate review and approval of written materials with designated points of contact
