Qualifications

• Proven copy editing or proofreading experience in e-commerce or marketing content.
• Clear command of US English and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle high-volume work.
• Familiarity with brand guidelines and style sheets.

Responsibilities

• Proofread and correct copy for grammar, spelling, punctuation and formatting to a US English standard.
• Check product data, names, measurements and facts for accuracy and consistency.
• Flag issues such as character-limit breaches, structure, forbidden terms and D&I considerations.
• Work from style guides, approved names files and briefs, and collaborate with writers to resolve queries.
• Adapt to different content types and requirements as projects come in.
