Job summary

Levy, a part of Compass Group, is seeking a dedicated food service professional to prepare high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards. You will ensure correct portioning, proper temperatures, and attractive presentation while maintaining a clean kitchen and following safety guidelines.

The role involves assisting in production planning, ordering and receiving supplies, and contributing to a safe, efficient dining operation across venues served by Levy.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and culinary operations preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation, HACCP and food safety guidelines.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring food temperature and presentation meet standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of refrigerators and storerooms, following safe food-handling procedures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment and assists in production planning and reporting.
• Adheres to company policies, safety guidelines and HACCP standards.
