Job summary

Tool & Design, Inc. is seeking an experienced controls engineer to design, engineer and support automation solutions in Indiana. The role involves remote work with field start up and on-site installations at customer sites in Mooresville and Winchester.

You will troubleshoot Rockwell, Mitsubishi and Omron control systems, and work with Fanuc, Motoman and Nachi robotics. Strong reading of electrical schematics and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• AS / BSEE or technical degree, or 3–5 years of industry experience.
• Proficient in PLC, HMI and VFD troubleshooting for custom equipment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for installation and training.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer and perform field start up for system integration projects in electrical machine building.
• Troubleshoot and assist with installations at customer locations in Indiana (Mooresville and Winchester).
• Read electrical schematics and analyze data; collaborate with internal teams to feedback product performance.
