This role will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and cash flow management.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Controller to join our rapidly growing multi-state organization in the healthcare industry. As a Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's financial future, working remotely to oversee all financial and accounting activities. Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts and report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Additional controller duties as necessary.
• Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.
• Oversee cash, investments and asset management area.
• Explore new investment opportunities and provide recommendations on potential returns and risks.
• Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions.
• Implement operational best practices.
• Oversee the company's transaction processing systems.
• Implement an ERP system.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience with a multi-state organization.
• Advanced degree in Accounting.
• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
• Ability to strategize and solve problems.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
