Job summary

PTS Advance seeks a Control Valve Tech/Planner for Port Arthur/LaPorte, TX, with remote work offered and travel during turnarounds. Duration is 2 years with potential direct hire after the assignment.

You will coordinate valve scopes, prepare work packages, and lead field verifications alongside planning, scheduling, engineering, logistics, and purchasing teams. Ideal candidates have 5+ years as a Control Valve Planner, 5+ years CV maintenance/planning, and proficiency with SAP, Primavera P6,

Qualifications

• Read and interpret P&ID's, valve specs, and location plans.
• Prepare and review test/work packages for field issuance.
• 5+ years as a Control Valve Planner.
• 5+ years of CV maintenance or CV maintenance planning.
• QA/QC work packages after completion.
• Understand Preventive Maintenance programs and translate to work packages.
• Proficient with SAP, Primavera P6, and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of the control valve work scope.
• Identify, scope, and produce construction work packages for execution.
• Read BOM and identify parts needed for valve overhauls.
• Lead field walks for site verification to complete valve surveys.
• Provide leadership in risk management and contractor safety.
• Organize materials through expediting and pricing, ensuring parts availability.
• Create detailed planning activities for each work order in Cleopatra.
• Provide daily schedule updates during outage execution.
• Create planning packages per client guidelines for distribution.
• Support Change Management processes and related documentation.
