Overview: The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Sweepy Maids, ensuring that our cleaning services are delivered efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage and motivate a team of cleaners.

Timimgs - 9am -3pm as per Toronto timings

Monday- Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure all cleaning services are completed on schedule.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Supervise, train, and support cleaning staff, ensuring they adhere to company standards and policies.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Coordinate and schedule staff training sessions, focusing on both theoretical and practical aspects of cleaning.
  • Client Relations:
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular feedback and follow-up.
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of cleaning services meets client expectations and company standards.
  • Implement and monitor a point system for grading cleaners' performance and addressing any issues.
  • Scheduling and Coordination:
  • Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and adherence to availability constraints.
  • Coordinate post-construction cleaning projects and other special assignments.
  • Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the cleaning or service industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using software tools such as Jobber and Lead Connector is a plus.
  • Knowledge of environmental and sustainability practices related to cleaning services is preferred.
