Himalayas hosts a role for chemists and safety professionals to audit AI model responses to sensitive chemical safety questions. You will classify requests, assess safety of three model answers, and rank them while documenting the rationale for safe, unsafe or risky content.

Ideal candidates hold a chemistry-related degree with 3+ years in chemical safety, toxicology, or industrial hygiene, and have excellent English writing skills. This is a contract, remote position with US eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or closely related field with strong safety knowledge.
• 3+ years of professional experience in chemical safety, laboratory safety, hazardous materials handling, EHS, toxicology or industrial hygiene.
• Strong understanding of chemical hazards, PPE, ventilation, exposure routes, storage risks, spill response, and regulatory frameworks such as SDS and GHS.

Responsabilités

• Develop AI training content with detailed prompts and safety-focused responses.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses for accuracy, safety, and context relevance.
• Test AI models for potential inaccuracies, biases, and safety concerns; provide structured feedback.
