Job summary

Stillwater Sciences seeks a Contract Analyst to support the review, negotiation, administration, and tracking of contracts company-wide, including prime and subconsultant agreements. This role partners with project managers and leadership to protect Stillwater's interests while enabling successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate has three years of contract processing experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, English, or legal field.
  • 3+ years’ experience processing contracts with increasing responsibilities including reviewing, redlining, and negotiating with third parties.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position >50% of the time and operate standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Review client, prime, and subcontract agreements to identify obligations, risks, and key terms, including indemnification, IP, payment, insurance, and confidentiality provisions.
  • Evaluate prime contract and client contract provisions for consistency and applicability to our work.
  • Draft edits and negotiate terms with clients and subcontractors.
  • Maintain organized contract records and process contracts/amendments for project setup.
  • Coordinate with project managers and insurance needs; improve processes.
