Job summary

AoPS Incorporated is seeking an Upper-Level Math Instructor to join the AoPS Academy Virtual Campus on a part-time basis. Courses run after school and on weekends, with late afternoons to evenings and Sunday hours, delivered in a live online classroom.

You will teach middle and high school students using our problem-solving curriculum in small classes (about 12 students) and foster engaging, student-led discussions that emphasize understanding over memorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in STEM required; master's preferred.
• Experience teaching or tutoring middle/high school students.
• Strongly preferred: experience with math contests (AMC, AIME, MATHCOUNTS, USAJMO, IMO).

Responsibilities

• Teach enthusiastic middle and high school students in online classrooms.
• Use AoPS curriculum to teach participation-oriented classes focused on development of skills.
• Work in small classes (average size ~12) with highly motivated students.
