Job summary

Advance Local Media, headquartered in the United States, is seeking a Content Strategist to plan, produce, publish, and evaluate content for Headline Studio across jewelry buyers, designers, and retailers. Remote position with occasional travel to New York City; tri-state area preferred.

Base salary $70,000–$75,000 per year. You will devise content plans, manage calendars, create content across formats, supervise vendors, and analyze performance to refine strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in content creation, content strategy, digital marketing, or journalism.
• Strong copywriting, visual, editing, and presentation skills with multi-media capability.
• Proven ability to optimize content for search engines and social placement.
• Ability to collaborate with journalists, editors, artists, sales/marketing managers, production specialists, and financial analysts within budget.
• Excellent project management skills for complex workflows and tight deadlines.
• Self-starter capable of guiding ideas from planning to execution and refinement.
• Willingness to learn unfamiliar subject matter quickly.
• Working knowledge of WordPress, Google Analytics, and AI tools; familiarity with Photoshop/InDesign is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Devise content plans and programs to meet client objectives and audience needs.
• Create and publish original content across multiple media formats.
• Develop content calendars and production schedules; coordinate stakeholders.
• Oversee printers, freelance designers, photographers, and other artists to meet specs and budgets.
• Place orders with contractors; manage vendor contracts and invoices.
• Uphold high standards of quality, accuracy, and ethical production.
• Monitor content performance using metrics; present reports to stakeholders.
• Maintain productive relationships with clients to translate business goals into content solutions.
