Job summary

DIRECTV is offering a 10-week remote internship across its Content team, with focus areas in Content Strategy & Development, Contracts & Compliance, Content & Programming, and Content Development. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and help shape the programming lineup for DIRECTV Satellite and Internet platforms.

Open to all majors and powered by strong analytical and communication skills, the program provides hands-on projects, data analysis, dashboards, and workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• Open to all majors; preferred tracks include Media & Entertainment, Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Leadership
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Experience working in cross-functional environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a desire to learn and grow
• Nice to have familiarity with AI LLMs for research and analysis

Responsibilities

• Analyze channel performance, marketing, and competition
• Support project management and reporting
• Assist with third-party authentication audits
• Deep dive analysis into programmer portfolios, offerings, synergies, sports rights, streaming cannibalization, etc.
• Conceptualize new functionalities serving content engagement and discovery
• Competitive intelligence research and summarization
