Job summary

Iris Telehealth is hiring Consult-Liaison Psychiatrists to support ED and inpatient teams from home. This 1099 role offers remote work with Georgia residency required, and a Georgia license. Compensation is $185/hour with a productivity model and an NP supervision stipend; $25K bonus is eligible for full-time psychiatrists.

Expect 13-16 shifts per month, including weekends, with Epic experience preferred. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality telepsychiatry

Qualifications

• Board-certified psychiatrist with consult-liaison expertise.
• Active Georgia medical license required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-residency Consult-Liaison Psychiatry experience providing telehealth consults.
• Experience providing psychiatric consultations for inpatient, emergency department, and emergency room settings.
• Experience treating patients ages 5+ preferred.
• Telehealth experience required, and Epic experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telepsychiatry consultations to inpatient, ED, and consult-liaison settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate psychiatric care across hospital systems.
• Deliver high-quality psychiatric evaluations remotely and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
