Job summary

Versique Consulting & Search seeks a Construction Health & Safety Advisor to deliver high-quality safety services for multiple construction clients. You will balance field execution with technical advisory duties to ensure OSHA-compliant practices and strong client relationships.

You will conduct safety assessments, develop programs, train employees, and lead safety committees while maintaining thorough documentation and driving continuous improvement. Remote work with local travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction health and safety experience.
• 3+ years proven in OSHA 1926 and state/regional regs.
• 2+ years developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs.
• Willingness to travel 1–3 nights per month; Minneapolis, MN area.
• CSP/CHST/ASP credentials strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to construction clients with regulatory guidance on OSHA 1926 and related regs.
• Conduct on-site safety assessments, training, and safety-committee facilitation to improve performance.
• Develop, write, and edit OSHA-compliant safety programs and policies.
• Review client deliverables for regulatory compliance and alignment with standards.
• Support client engagements and foster strong retention and satisfaction.
• Build trust-based relationships with client teams and project leadership.
• Provide guidance on safety culture, risk mitigation, and best practices.
• Maintain documentation, reporting, and follow-up on visits and initiatives.
• Stay current on safety regulations and participate in internal training.
