Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a highly skilled Computational Physics AI Expert for a remote contractor role. You will apply computational physics expertise with Python to real-world AI workflows, using Codex and Claude family tools to solve complex problems and automate multi-step tasks.

You will document methodologies, decisions, and agent-driven sequences while evaluating effectiveness and limitations of AI-generated solutions in computational contexts.

Qualifications

• Proven computational physics expertise with Python and AI coding agents.
• Experience using Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code and Claude Cowork in real workflows.
• Ability to document workflows and technical decisions clearly.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging with AI-assisted tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed, real-world walkthroughs of computational physics problem-solving using AI coding agents in complex environments.
• Demonstrate the use of Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork for advanced technical workflows.
• Document how AI agents are used for navigating large codebases, debugging, and automating multi-step workflows.
• Describe approaches, decisions, methodologies, and agent-generated sequences used to solve computational problems.
• Evaluate workflows where AI agents contribute to architectural changes, codebase modifications, debugging, and ambiguous challenges.
• Develop high-quality technical examples, evaluations, and feedback to support AI training and model improvement.
• Analyze accuracy, effectiveness, and limitations of AI-generated solutions in computational physics contexts.
• Communicate technical findings through written and verbal documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine technical examples, workflows, and evaluation criteria.
