Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Computational Scientist (contract) in the San Francisco Bay Area to lead hands-on genetic/genomic data analyses and multimodal data integration. Qualifications

• PhD or Masters with significant relevant experience in statistical genetics, computational biology, or genetic epidemiology.
• Extensive experience analyzing large-scale genetic/genomic datasets.
• Proficiency with GWAS and sequence-based data analyses (RNA-Seq, scRNA-Seq, scATAC-Seq).
• Experience integrating genetic and molecular data for multimodal analyses.
• Strong communication and ability to publish findings with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Human Genetics to analyze large genetic/genomic and clinical datasets.
• Develop analytical approaches to integrate diverse data and derive disease biology insights.
• Implement ML algorithms to relate imaging and omics data.
• Coordinate data intake, preprocessing, and documentation of methods and results.
• Present findings to the department and cross-functional teams; contribute to publications.
