Job summary

Please note, this is a remote, Monday–Friday Business Analyst in Operational Oversight – Compliance position with BCBST family affiliation. The role emphasizes operational reporting, data analysis, process oversight, and Excel-based reporting focused on TennCare CHOICES and LTSS.

Tennessee residency is required, and candidates should be able to work within CST hours. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of data analysis, compliance, or audit experience, strong analytical and organizational skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment.
• 3 years - Technical or operational experience required
• Database reporting skills utilizing Access, Cognos and data warehouse
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
• Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Design, development, assessment, and implementation of organizational management projects, policies, and/or procedures.
• Identifying business process improvement projects for internal business groups, and making recommendations to management on efficiencies.
• Conducting cost/benefit evaluations on various external and internal resources.
• Analyzing business requirements and production specifications to improve the effectiveness of the organization's management operations.
