Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a Compliance Business Partner to lead investigations within our Corporate Compliance Program. You will partner with operations, legal, HR and risk management to assess concerns, ensure objective fact-finding, and support timely resolutions in line with regulations and organizational expectations.

RN clinical auditing or emergency department experience is highly encouraged. This remote role requires residency within the UnityPoint footprint and may involve travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or healthcare related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing or clinical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, investigations, auditing, monitoring, data collection, analysis, trending, and reporting.
• Clinical auditing or emergency department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end compliance investigations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and resources for investigations.
• Develop investigation plans, define scope, and document reviews.
• Prepare clear, defensible investigation reports for leadership and legal review.
• Create plans of correction and monitor progress to completion.
• Conduct internal auditing/monitoring of compliance issues.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting UnityPoint Health.
• Coach leaders to improve compliance practices.
