Job summary

N26 is seeking a Compliance and Prevention Associate to join the Complaints Management and Prevention team. The role focuses on executing remediation deliverables, conducting deep-dive root cause analyses, and enforcing compliance checks on complaint handling across markets, with emphasis on Germany.

Reporting to the Complaints Compliance and Prevention Manager, you will work on audit evidence, ToD/ToE packages, and process documentation, while leveraging BaFin MaBeschwer, PSD2, and MaComp

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proven experience in compliance controls, assurance, banking operations or complaints management in German financial space.
• Full working proficiency in German.

Responsibilities

• Execute remediation projects ensuring timely delivery and regulatory compliance.
• Draft and update Written Orders (SfOs), Work Instructions, process maps, and guidelines.
• Perform deep-dive RCA across markets to identify root causes.
• Compile and archive ToD/ToE evidence for internal/external reviews.
• Verify and validate SLA calculations and conflict-of-interest checks.
