Job summary

Health Plan of San Joaquin is seeking a Compliance Analyst Regulatory Affairs to coordinate compliance activities, assess risk, and conduct research into regulatory requirements. This role focuses on audits, contract management, and guidance to stakeholders to ensure adherence to standards.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical and communication skills, plus experience interpreting state and federal health care laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, plus relevant work experience in compliance or health care law.
• At least three years of interpreting state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
• Knowledge of audit, control and monitoring processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and audit compliance matters and maintain reporting.
• Conduct risk assessments of business practices and mitigation plans.
• Research contractual and regulatory requirements for HPSJ and vendors.
• Maintain compliance audit program, schedules and reports.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and address identified gaps.
• Guide stakeholders to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
• Compile and track deliverables and obtain approvals on timelines.
• Evaluate financial impact of compliance issues and report findings.
