Job summary

Autism Speaks is seeking a Community Engagement temporary employee to assist with constituent outreach and volunteer mobilization across markets. The role emphasizes retention and activation of Walk team captains, fundraisers and volunteers, under local market leadership.

Work will be remote nationwide, with travel up to 50% during peak event seasons. The position requires strong communication, organization, customer service, and volunteer recruitment skills, plus experience with MS Office 365

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’sdegree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years’ work experience preferred (administrative, fundraising, and/or special events) and working with volunteers.
• Peer-to-peer fundraising experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist identified markets with constituent outreach to increase retention and activation of Walk team captains, fundraisers and volunteers.
• Conduct outreach via phone, text, and email for kickoff outreach and recruitment.
• Support post-event follow up, incentive and recognition activities.
• Coordinate with Community Engagement team members and market leads on tasks and provide follow up notes.
