Job summary

The Soulful Forest, Inc is seeking a Communications and Outreach Intern II to support the nonprofit's growth by sharing its story with schools, pediatric units, and healthcare facilities. You will help build partnerships and sponsorships, drafting materials and coordinating outreach with local media contacts.

Ideal candidates are Post University students with strong writing skills, experience in email outreach, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines while supporting

Qualifications

• Current Post University student enrolled under a Federal Work-Study award.
• Strong writing and communication skills required for outreach materials.
• Comfort with professional email outreach and coordination.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Draft and distribute press releases and build media contacts lists.
• Research potential sponsors and partners to grow funding for sites.
• Draft outreach emails and follow-ups to sponsors and partners.
• Track outreach in a sponsorship tracker to avoid missing leads.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials and one-pagers for schools/hospitals.
