Qualifications

• Graduate student preferred or final year undergrad in communications, marketing, journalism, English or similar.
• Writing samples: published work, a newsletter, or a social channel you’ve grown.
• A sharp writer and ruthless editor, including of your own work.
• Familiarity with email marketing and social scheduling tools (specific platforms can be learned).
• Working grasp of content metrics and what moves them.
• A critical thinker who questions common practices.
• Meticulous; a typo in a published email is a public event.
• Commercial aptitude: content that moves a number.

Responsibilities

• Create email marketing and social media content in the practice’s voice.
• Plan content calendars and track performance to improve results.
• Support publicity: media research, pitch drafts, outreach for review.
• Research influencers and partners, manage outreach and tracking.
• Turn long-form ideas into concise content and edit before publishing.
• Monitor mentions and industry conversations for opportunities.
• Use AI tools for drafts and research, then edit to sound like us.
